My nameless historyI will take this moment to write a line,or two about my life,I never thought I'd amount to this,a man content with time.Through my words, I express my soul, that part inside me,My actions have touched many lives, some I have yet to see.I will live on in the hearts and minds,of those who remember me,Though my name may pass in time,my nameless history.
The OathShe said that she forgave me,a lie between her teeth,Her love I thought would save me,and crush the pain beneath,Yet forgiven is not forgotten,as I thought it should be,Once sweet, all is rotten, now I am left in grief,The more I loved her further, her love I could not reep,I had said I'd never hurt her,an oath I couldn't keep.
the less of meUpon my life I must confess,I always thought there more than this,A man I thought I'd never be,The World I thought of more I'd see,With time I thought I'd come to say,My life less lived by day to day,The more I planned, slaved, and tried,Fighting only to rule my life,More or less I came to see,The more I claimed, the less of me.
The phantom loveThe thought is never pleasant,to lose the one you love,As though your limbs were severed, then tossed among the wolves,Yet you still remember, each time you close your eyes,Their phantom touch still lingers, yet never ease your cries.
Life's LessonIt seems life's lesson is a mythical thing,The more I cope with, the more trials it brings,It seems that no matter how hard I may try,The less left unknown, the more that I die.
Who have I become?Pushed to the edge of creation,I thought I found the end,Alive in my own elation,What message could I send?Lost in my mind's illusion,I thought I would be gone,Confused by my own delusion,Where did I go so wrong?Urged to sudden action,I thought I set my sail,Into this darkened fraction,How could I help but fail?Awakened from my dreaming,I thought I was no one,I was something greater, seeming,Who have I become?
